Reliable Merced Spray Foam Insulation, insulationmerced.com, hello@insulationmerced.com
Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or hire Reliable Merced Spray Foam Insulation for work at your home or business. By using the site, sending a request through our contact page or accepting an estimate from us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
In these terms, "we," "us" and "our" mean Reliable Merced Spray Foam Insulation. "You" means the person using the site, or the owner or tenant who books the work.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Merced, CA. We install, remove and upgrade insulation for homes and commercial buildings in Merced and the cities around it. That includes spray foam, blown-in insulation, air sealing, crawl space work and vapor barriers. You can see our services from the home page and read more about us on our About page.
What the site says about insulation is general information, not a promise about your building. What your job actually needs depends on what we find in your attic, crawl space or walls.
Estimates and pricing
We give free on-site estimates, and there's no obligation to hire us. A written estimate is based on what we could see and measure at the visit. It stays good for the period written on it.
Sometimes we open up a job and find something the estimate didn't cover, like old insulation that's soaked or full of droppings, pest damage or framing problems. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and give you a written change before we do any extra work. We won't charge you for added work you didn't approve.
Nothing on this website is a quote for your job. Your price comes from your written estimate or contract.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
Once you accept an estimate, we'll set a start date with you. Dates can move because of weather, material deliveries or crew safety. If that happens, we'll tell you as soon as we know.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas and to keep children and pets away from them while we work. Please clear stored items out of the attic, garage or crawl space unless we've agreed to move them for you. On spray foam jobs, you agree to stay out of the treated area until the re-entry time we give you, which is when it's okay to come back inside.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials for your job, you may owe us for anything we can't return. These terms don't take away any cancellation rights you have under California law.
Payment
Your estimate or contract sets out the payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due. If it doesn't say otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause work or hold off scheduling until it's settled. Where the law allows, you'll also be responsible for reasonable costs of collecting what's owed.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We're licensed and insured, and every job comes with a satisfaction guarantee. If something about our installation isn't right, call us and we'll come back and fix it.
Any warranty on the materials comes from the product's maker, not from us, and follows the maker's terms. Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from later roof or plumbing leaks, pests, other trades disturbing the insulation, or changes made after we leave.
Apart from what's written here and in your contract, this website and our services are provided "as is." We don't promise a certain power bill, room temperature or amount of savings, because those depend on your house, your heating and cooling equipment and how you use them.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses that come from the website or our work, such as lost use of your home or lost income. For any claim about a job, the most we're responsible for is the amount you paid us for that job.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that California law doesn't allow us to limit, including injury caused by our own negligence.
We try to keep this website accurate. We can't promise it's always complete or up to date.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything, please talk to us first. Call (209) 308-1021 or reach us through the contact page. Most problems get sorted out with a phone call or a return visit.
If we still can't settle it, either of us may take the matter to small claims court or to another court that has jurisdiction in Merced County, California.
Which law applies
These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms now and then by posting the new version on this page. The version in effect when you accept an estimate is the one that applies to that job.
If you have a question about these terms, give us a call or send a message through our contact page.
